Happy and Cozy are Shakta Kaur’s first childrens albums. Over the years, Shakta noticed that children paid attention when she sang. It seemed as though she had been born with a voice that was made for children. Sweet and clear – an invitation to fun in a centered sort of way. Her voice can be teasingly fresh and playful or as sweetly soft as a lullaby.
She sings with her friend and colleague, Alima Dyal Clarke, and their voices interweave and complement each other to create an extraordinary experience for children and adults who are young at heart.
